Growing up together, twin brothers, Conor (guitarist) and Danny (drummer) along with their cousin Erin (vocals and bass) shared a common interest in creating music and what soon became, the garage punk rock trio that is The Cosmics from Birmingham.

Following the success of their debut single, ’Johnny’; along with the nifty one-take music video to accompany it, The Cosmics hit over 12,000 views on YouTube and gained admiration from BBC’s Steve Lamacq and Radio X leading to even more appreciation from the nation of like-minded individuals who love original talented artists. Being compared to Britpop legends such as Elastica, as well as The Undertones and Blondie, The Cosmics definitely have their own raw sound that can easily impact the music scene.

A big helping hand for The Cosmics came from the renowned club night, ‘This Feeling’; hosting gigs in major cities across the UK such as Manchester, Birmingham, Sheffield and London, where the music scene thrives off of young up and coming talented musicians, giving them a platform to get their music heard to the right people who are passionate enough and can enthuse over this brilliant new band. After all, this is where the likes of Catfish and the Bottlemen, Blossoms and Cabbage all rose from. With gigs and festivals on the horizon already, it’s only a matter of time before The Cosmics claim 2017 as their own.

Their upcoming second single, ‘Waste of Time’, demonstrates a classic, feisty, catchy break up song. It’s everything you want from a solid punk rock track. Due for release on 17th February, the single will be accompanied by the release of a new music video along with an intimate gig courtesy of This Feeling on home ground at The Sunflower Lounge which will also be the launch party and one hell of a night to remember.

17th Feb – The Sunflower Lounge, Birmingham

18th Feb – TBC, Manchester

29th July – Kendal Calling, Cumbria
