Bolton’s colossal indie-rock band The Jade Assembly announce their signing to Ugly Man Records.

The Jade Assembly

The Greater Manchester band has accumulated a cult following known as ‘The Jade Army’ through anthemic live sets, word-of-mouth and social media.

Having blossomed in hometown venues such as The Blind Tiger Bolton and played The Macron Stadium (home of Bolton Wanderers), The Jade Assembly are set to progress further as a now signed act.

The Bolton group sign to Ugly Man Records, where near-by Bury-band Elbow’s first found fame.

Combining the melody of Elbow and Doves with the swagger of Britpop, and described as ‘the best guitar band since Kasabian’ by Radio X DJ Clint Boon, The Jade Assembly are now set for big things in 2016.
